Jurong Bird Park

Join Jas Tours for a tour of the amazing Jurong Bird Park which is one of the largest bird parks in Asia. With a population of around 9000 birds and 600 species, a trip to the Jurong Bird Park is a must for people who love birds and nature. The entire park is spread in an area of 202,000 square meters and a natural environment has been recreated so that the birds feel at home.

The best thing about the Jurong Bird Park is that the birds are not kept in cages. On the other hand, it is an open aviary and hence you would be able to able to watch these birds in their natural environment. There are also different themes in the park which depict the environment of a particular place. Here, you can check out the African Rainforest, the Jungle Jewels Flight Aviary, the South American rainforest, the Australian themed aviary, etc. Some of the birds you would find here are black-masked birds, saddle billed storks, yellow0hooded blackbird, red-crested cardinal, Lories, etc. The best part about visiting this place is that not only can you view the animals but also interact with them and feed them. The Bird Discovery Centre and Heliconia Repository are also some interesting attractions of the place.

The Jurong Bird Park gives you the chance to be one with nature just for a few days. This is a tour that you would thoroughly enjoy!

Singapore has a warm and humid climate throughout the year. But the months of December and January are relatively cooler, thanks to the monsoon season. Moreover, the weather can be unpredictable; so be sure to carry an umbrella in order to tackle all-of-a-sudden rainstorms and drizzles.
Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended, regardless of the time of your Singapore visit. Pair it with a cardigan or a shawl when you’re indoors, particularly within air-conditioned malls and entertainment areas with a freezing temperature.
Since your Singapore vacation may involve a lot of walking, it’s good to have a pair of comfy shoes.
The city-state’s sunny climate also entails you to bring a good pair of sun glasses, besides a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin from the unforgiving UVB rays.
Smoking in public places is a serious offense in Singapore.
Don’t litter public places.
Chewing gums is another illegal act in the city-state.
